 धेरै मानिसहरू विश्वास गर्छन् कि एउटै सामान्य न्याय हुनेछ । तिनीहरूले यसलाई संसारको अन्त्यमा हुने एउटा महान् घटनाको रूपमा वर्णन गर्छन्, जब सबै मानवहरू, सन्तहरू र पापीहरू, यहूदीहरू र अन्यजातिहरू, जीवितहरू र मृतकहरू परमेश्वरको सामु खडा हुनेछन् र न्याय गरिनेछन् । यो बाइबलले सिकाउने कुरा होइन । धर्मशास्त्रलाई ध्यानपूर्वक अध्ययन गर्दा विश्वासीले धेरै फरक न्यायहरू बीचको भिन्नता छुट्याउन सिक्छ । यी न्यायहरू एकअर्काबाट फरक छन् । तिनीहरू विषयहरू (न्याय भइरहेकाहरू), स्थान, समय र परिणामको सन्दर्भमा फरक छन् ।

अब हामी बाइबलमा उल्लेख गरिएका पाँचवटा महत्त्वपूर्ण न्यायहरू विचार गर्न तयार छौं । बाइबलमा उल्लेख गरिएका यी मात्र न्यायहरू होइनन्, तर यी पाँचवटालाई ध्यानपूर्वक बुझ्नु र छुट्याउनु आवश्यक छ : 

I. क्रसको न्याय 

 परमेश्वर पवित्र हुनुहुन्छ र परमेश्वरले पापलाई दण्ड दिनुपर्छ र पापको न्याय गर्नुपर्छ । बाइबलले हामीलाई “...ख्रीष्ट हाम्रा पापका निम्ति मर्नुभयो” भन्ने शुभ समाचार बताउँछ । [१ कोरिन्थी १५:३] यसको अर्थ ख्रीष्ट हाम्रो सट्टा दण्डित हुनुभयो ! एक दोषी पापीको रूपमा, म परमेश्वरको न्यायको योग्य हुँ, तर परमेश्वरको न्याय मेरो सट्टा, प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टमाथि पर्यो । म मृत्युदण्डको योग्य हुँ । म त्यो हुँ जो मेरा अपराधहरूको लागि क्रूसमा झुण्डिनुपर्थ्यो, तर मेरो मुक्तिदाता मेरो सट्टामा मर्नुभयो । “...ख्रीष्ट अधर्मीहरूका निम्ति ठीक समयमा मर्नुभयो ।” [रोमी ५:६]

 १) न्यायाधीश को हो ?

 पवित्र परमेश्वर, सारा पृथ्वीको न्यायकर्ता । [भजनसंग्रह २२:१,३; यशैया ५३:६,१०]

 २) अभियुक्त को हो ? कसको न्याय गरिँदैछ ?

 येशू ख्रीष्ट । [१ पत्रुस ३:१८]

 ३) फैसला कहाँ हुन्छ ?

 क्रूसमा । [१ पत्रुस २:२४]

 ४) यो फैसला कहिले भयो ?

 लगभग ३० ईस्वी, ख्रीष्टको मृत्यु भएको दिन ।

 ५) नतिजा :

 येशू ख्रीष्टको लागि मृत्यु [रोमी ५:६,८] तर विश्वासीको लागि अनन्त जीवन । [रोमी ६:२३] ख्रीष्टमाथि न्याय परेको हुनाले, विश्वासीलाई उसको पापको कारणले कहिल्यै न्याय वा दोषी ठहराइने छैन । [रोमी ८:१; यूहन्ना ५:२४]

II. विश्वासीहरूको आत्म न्याय

 यो न्याय १ कोरिन्थी ११:३१-३२ मा वर्णन गरिएको छ,

“तर हामी साँच्चै आफैले आफैलाई जाँचेका छौं भने हामी न्यायमा पर्नेछैनौं । 

तर जब प्रभुले हाम्रो न्याय गर्नुहुन्छ, तब हामीलाई अनुशासन गर्नुहुन्छ, ताकि संसारसँग हामी दोषी नठहरिऔं ।”

परमेश्वर चाहनुहुन्छ कि विश्वासीहरूले पापलाई सही तरिकाले व्यवहार गरून् । जब मेरो जीवनमा पाप हुन्छ, म यसलाई बेवास्ता गर्नु हुँदैन वा यो धेरै गम्भीर छैन भनेर बहाना गर्नु हुँदैन वा यसलाई ढाकछोप गर्ने प्रयास गर्नु हुँदैन । पाप त्यस्तो चीज हो जुन महशुस गर्नुपर्छ र स्वीकार गर्नुपर्छ र परमेश्वरलाई थाहा दिनुपर्छ । मैले आफैलाई न्याय गर्नुपर्छ, “प्रभु, म दोषी छु ! मैले तपाईंको विरुद्धमा पाप गरेको छु र मैले गलत गरेको छु । येशू मेरो लागि मर्नुभएकोमा धन्यवाद र मलाई क्षमा गर्नुभएकोमा धन्यवाद !”

 १) न्यायाधीश को हो ?

 विश्वासी । [१ कोरिन्थी ११:२८,३१; १ यूहन्ना १:९]

 २) अभियुक्त को हो ? कसको न्याय भइरहेको छ ?

 विश्वासी । उसले आफैलाई न्याय गरिरहेको हुन्छ । [१ कोरिन्थी ११:३१]

 ३) फैसला कहाँ हुन्छ ?

 जहाँसुकै । विश्वासी जहाँसुकै भए पनि ।

 ४) न्याय कहिले हुन्छ ?

 ख्रीष्टियन जीवनभरि, कुनै पनि समयमा । [भजनसंग्रह १३९:२३-२४ तुलना गर्नुहोस्]

 ५) नतिजा :

 आफूलाई न्याय गर्न असफल हुने विश्वासीको लागि : सजाय । [१ कोरिन्थी ११:३२] आफूलाई न्याय गर्ने विश्वासीको लागि : क्षमा । [१ यूहन्ना १:९]

III. ख्रीष्टको न्याय आसन

 यो न्यायमा विश्वासीहरू समावेश छन् । यो न्यायको विश्वासीको मुक्तिसँग कुनै सम्बन्ध छैन किनभने यो विश्वासीले मुक्ति पाएको बेला नै समाधान भइसकेको छ । यस न्यायमा समावेश मुद्दा विश्वासीहरूको काम हुनेछ : 

“किनकि हामी सबै ख्रीष्टका न्याय-आसनको सामुन्ने खड़ा हुनुपर्छ, यसरी शरीरमा हुँदा आफूले गरेबमोजिम हरेकले असल वा खराब प्रतिफल पाउनेछ ।” [२ कोरिन्थी ५:१०]

यो न्यायको कुनै व्यक्तिले आफ्नो मुक्ति नपाएका दिनहरूमा कसरी बाँचेको छ भन्ने कुरासँग कुनै सम्बन्ध छैन तर यसको सबै कुरा एक व्यक्तिले मुक्ति पाएदेखि (आफ्नो सम्पूर्ण ख्रीष्टियन जीवनको समयमा) कसरी बाँचेको छ भन्ने कुरासँग सम्बन्धित छ ।

 १) न्यायाधीश को हो ?

 प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्ट । [२ कोरिन्थी ५:१०; रोमी १४:१०]

 २) अभियुक्तहरू को हुन् ? कसको न्याय गरिनेछ ?

 विश्वासीहरू मात्र, जो ख्रीष्टको शरीरका सदस्यहरू हुन्, जुन मण्डली हो । २ कोरिन्थी ५:१० र रोमी १४:१० को सन्दर्भबाट यो स्पष्ट हुन्छ कि पावल विश्वासीहरूको बारेमा कुरा गर्दैछन्, अविश्वासीहरूको बारेमा होइन ।

 ३) फैसला कहाँ हुन्छ ?

 प्रभुको उपस्थितिमा (स्वर्गमा) । 

 ४) न्याय कहिले हुन्छ ?

 र्‍याप्चर पछि तुरुन्तै । [१ कोरिन्थी ४:५; २ तिमोथी ४:८; प्रकाश २२:१२]

 ५) नतिजा :

 विश्वासीहरूले इनाम पाउनेछन् । [१ कोरिन्थी ३:१४] अविश्वासी विश्वासीहरूले नोक्सानी भोग्नेछन् [१ कोरिन्थी ३:१५], तर त्यो आफैचाहिँ आगोबाट उम्केझैँ बाँच्नेछ । [१ कोरिन्थी ३:१५] उसले इनाम गुमाउनेछ तर मुक्ति गुमाउने छैन ।

 ६) मुख्य खण्डहरू :

 २ कोरिन्थी ५:१०; रोमी १४:१०-१२; १ कोरिन्थी ३:११-१५; ४:४-५; २ तिमोथी ४:८

IV. जातिहरूको न्याय 

 यो महत्त्वपूर्ण न्याय प्रायः ठूलो सेतो सिंहासनको न्यायसँग भ्रमित हुन्छ (जसलाई हामी अर्को बुँदा अन्तर्गत अध्ययन गर्नेछौं)। यी दुई न्यायहरू हामीले चाँडै सिकेझैं एकै होइनन् ।

 १) न्यायाधीश को हो?

 मानिसको पुत्र । [मत्ती २५:३१, महान् मसीह राजा !]

 २) अभियुक्त को हुन् ? कसको न्याय गरिनेछ ?

 “...सबै जातिहरू भेला हुनेछन्...।” [मत्ती २५:३२] यी अन्यजातिहरू हुनेछन् जो ख्रीष्टको दोस्रो आगमनको समयमा पृथ्वीमा बस्नेछन् । (जसलाई ख्रीष्टले आफ्नो आगमनमा नष्ट गर्नुहुनेछैन ।)

 ३) यो फैसला कहाँ हुन्छ ?

 पृथ्वीमा, किनकि ख्रीष्ट भर्खरै पृथ्वीमा फर्कनुभएको छ [मत्ती २५:३१], र यी अन्यजातिहरू ती हुन् जो महासङ्कष्टबाट बचेका छन् र अझै पनि पृथ्वीमा जीवित छन् ।

 ४) न्याय कहिले हुन्छ ?

 “जब मानिसको पुत्र सारा स्वर्गदूतहरूसँग आफ्नो महिमामा आउनेछ, तब ऊ आफ्नो महिमामय सिंहासनमा बस्नेछ ।” [मत्ती २५:३१] यो आगमनको वर्णन मत्ती २४:३० मा पनि गरिएको छ ।

 ५) नतिजा :

 भेडाहरू (मुक्ति पाएका) राज्यमा प्रवेश गर्छन् (मत्ती २५:३४) र बाख्राहरू (मुक्ति नपाएका) अनन्तको लागि आगोमा दण्डित हुन्छन् (मत्ती २५:४१,४६) । साथै, उहाँका भाइहरूलाई सहयोग गर्नेहरूलाई भेडाहरू भनिएको छ र बाख्राहरू तिनीहरू हुन, जसले तिनीहरूलाई अस्वीकार गरे र सताए ।

V. ठुलो सेतो सिंहासनको न्याय

 यो सबै मुक्ति नपाएका मानिसहरूका लागि महान् अन्तिम न्याय हो । प्रकाश २०:११-१५ मा यसको वर्णन गरिएको छ । २ पत्रुस ३:७ मा यसलाई “न्यायको दिन र भक्तिहीन मानिसहरूको मानिसहरूको विनाशको दिन” भनिएको छ । तपाईंले निम्न छ बुँदाहरू अध्ययन गर्दा तपाईंले देख्नुहुनेछ कि यो मत्ती २५:३१-४६ (जातिहरूको न्याय) मा वर्णन गरिएको न्याय भन्दा फरक छ ।

 

१) न्यायाधीश को हो ?

 परमेश्वर (प्रकाश २०:१२) । यूहन्ना ५:२२,२७ ले यस न्यायकर्तालाई परमेश्वर पुत्र (प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्ट) को रूपमा पनि चिनाउँछ ।

 

२) अभियुक्तहरू को हुन् ? कसको न्याय गरिनेछ ?

 मरेका, साना र ठूला (प्रकाश २०:१२) । यी ती मानिसहरू हुन् जसले ख्रीष्टलाई कहिल्यै मुक्तिदाताको रूपमा ग्रहण गरेका छैनन् । तिनीहरू जीवन बिहिन छन् किनभने तिनीहरूसँग परमेश्वरको अनन्त जीवनको बहुमूल्य उपहार छैन । [१ यूहन्ना ५:११-१२]

 

३) यो फैसला कहाँ हुन्छ ?

 पृथ्वीमा होइन, किनकि “...उहाँको सामुन्नेबाट पृथ्वी र आकाश भागेर गए, र तिनीहरूका निम्ति कतै ठाउँ पाइएन ।” [प्रकाश २०:११ र तुलना गर्नुहोस् २ पत्रुस ३:७-१२] यो परमेश्वरको महान सेतो सिंहासनको अगाडि हुन्छ ।

 ४) यो फैसला कहिले हुन्छ ?

 प्रकाश २०:१-१० पढ्नुहोस् । यो न्याय हजार वर्षको राज्यपछि, अन्तिम विद्रोह पछि (पद ७-९) र शैतानलाई आगोको कुण्डमा फ्याँकिए पछि हुन्छ । नोट : जातिहरूको न्याय हजार वर्षको राज्य भन्दा पहिले हुनेछ ।

 ५) नतिजा :

 जसको नाउँ जीवनको पुस्तकमा लेखिएको भेट्टाइएन त्यो अग्नि-कुण्डमा फालियो । [प्रकाश २०:१५]

 ६) मुख्य खण्ड :

 प्रकाश २०:११-१५ (र २ पत्रुस अध्याय ३ तुलना गर्नुहोस्) ।

बाइबलमा उल्लेख गरिएका अन्य न्यायहरूमा हजार वर्षको राज्यको सुरुमा हुने इस्राएलको न्याय (इजकिएल २०:३३-४४; भजनसंग्रह ५०:१-२१) र १ कोरिन्थी ६:३ मा उल्लेख गरिएको स्वर्गदूतहरूको न्याय पनि समावेश छ ।

* तपाईंको बारेमा के ? के तपाईं विश्वास गर्नुहुन्छ कि येशू ख्रीष्टलाई तपाईंको पापको लागि न्याय गरियो र दण्ड दिइयो ? तपाईं कुन न्यायमा भाग लिनुहुनेछ, ख्रीष्टको न्यायआसन वा ठूलो सेतो सिंहासनको न्याय ? नूहको समयमा त्यहाँ एउटा मात्र सुरक्षित ठाउँ थियो : जहाजमा ! आज त्यहाँ एउटा मात्र सुरक्षित ठाउँ छ : ख्रीष्ट येशूमा [रोमी ८:१] । ख्रीष्ट येशूमा भएकाहरूले कहिल्यै पनि परमेश्वरको न्याय र दण्डदेखि डराउनु पर्दैन [रोमी ८:१; यूहन्ना ५:२४; यूहन्ना ३:१८]। आउनको लागि क्रोधबाट भाग्ने एउटै मात्र तरिका छ, र त्यो हो ख्रीष्टको खुला हातमा दौडनु, एक मात्र मुक्तिदाता । यदि तपाईं उहाँकहाँ आउनुभयो भने, उहाँले तपाईंलाई कुनै रीतिले म त्याग्नेछैनँ [यूहन्ना ६:३७] ।

The 7 Judgments :

1. The Believer’s Sins on the Cross (Rom. 3:21-28; Heb. 10:10; 1 Pet. 2:24): This is a past event where Jesus bore the penalty for all sins of those who trust in Him, justifying them before God.

2. The Believer’s Self-Judgment (1 Cor. 11:31; 2 Pet. 3:11): An ongoing process for the believer, involving repentance and confession to maintain fellowship with God, preventing divine discipline.

3. The Believer’s Works at the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Cor. 5:10; Rev. 22:12): A future assessment of a Christian's service and faithfulness, determining rewards, not salvation.

4. The Judgment of the Nations (Matt. 25:31-36): A judgment following the Tribulation, deciding which nations enter the Millennial Kingdom based on their treatment of Christ's brethren ("little flock").

5. The Judgment of Israel (Ezek. 20:37, 38; Matt. 25:14-30): The evaluation of Israel at Christ's return, purging rebels and preparing the faithful for the Kingdom.

6. The Judgment of Fallen Angels (Jude 6; Isa. 24:21, 22): The final sentencing of demonic powers and angels who sinned against God, particularly those bound since the flood.

7. The Great White Throne Judgment (Rom. 2:6; Rev. 20:11-15): The final judgment of all unbelieving dead, based on their works, resulting in the second death in the Lake of Fire. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Seven Judgments Every Believer Must Understand — And Why It Changes Everything

Every time we open the Scriptures, we give God the opportunity to teach us what we could never discover through human wisdom alone.

The Spirit of God uses the excellency of His Word to open our understanding (1 Cor. 2:12–13). And when Paul prays that we might comprehend the breadth, length, depth, and height of Christ’s love (Eph. 3:18–19), he’s praying for us to be filled with God’s fullness — the fullness that dwells bodily in Christ Himself (Col. 2:9–10).

Once you begin to see God’s Word clearly, everything starts to make sense. That’s what happens when you take Paul’s command seriously:

“Study… rightly dividing the word of truth.” — 2 Tim. 2:15

Right division shows us there are distinctions in God’s program — Israel vs. the Body of Christ, prophecy vs. mystery, earth vs. heaven.

But there’s another area where confusion dominates Christianity:

Judgment.

Most of Christendom lumps everything into one general resurrection and one general judgment. This produces theological chaos, especially in systems influenced by preterism or covenant theology.

But the Bible doesn’t teach one judgment.
It teaches seven.

If you don’t see these seven clearly — in their correct dispensational order — you will mix Israel with the Body of Christ, law with grace, prophecy with mystery, and earth with heaven.
So let’s lay them out plainly, biblically, and right-divided.

1. JUDGMENT OF SIN — At the Cross
(The foundational judgment. If you miss this, all others crumble.)

Long before Jesus hung on Calvary, He spoke of His cross as the moment of judgment (John 12:31–33).
When He died, God judged sin completely, once for all (Rom. 8:3).

Paul says:
“He made Him to be sin for us…” — 2 Cor. 5:21

“Christ died for our sins…” — 1 Cor. 15:3

“…a propitiation — a fully satisfying payment.” — Rom. 3:25; 1 John 2:2

Hebrews says it as clearly as words can say it:
“One sacrifice for sins forever… perfected forever…” — Heb. 10:10–14

No re-sacrifice.
No repeat ritual.
No confession booth.
No priestly mediator.
No sacrament to maintain forgiveness.

Sin was judged once at the cross, never again.

2. SELF-JUDGMENT — Daily in the Believer’s Walk
(A judgment of sons, not sinners.)

After salvation, God treats you not as a criminal but as a son (Gal. 4:6–7). Sons examine themselves in light of God’s Word.

“If we judge ourselves, we should not be judged.” — 1 Cor. 11:31–32

This is not 1 John 1:9 confession (that belonged to Israel under the Law).
This is the believer using Scripture for:

• Doctrine — what’s right
• Reproof — what’s not right
• Correction — how to get it right
• Instruction — how to keep it right — 2 Tim. 3:16

Titus 2:11–12 says grace teaches us to deny ungodliness.

As we walk in our identity in Christ, we reject what contradicts who we already are in Him.

3. JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST — After the Rapture
(Judgment of service and spiritual maturity.)

Only the Body of Christ attends this judgment (Rom. 14:10; 2 Cor. 5:10).
It happens immediately after we meet the Lord in the air (1 Thess. 4:13–18; 1 Cor. 4:5).
This is not a judgment of sin — that was settled at Calvary.

This is the evaluation of:
• your spiritual growth,
• your labor in the gospel,
• your faithfulness to Pauline truth,
• how Christ was formed in your inner man.

You will “receive the things done in the body” (2 Cor. 5:10).
Not done by the flesh… but done as a new creature in Christ.

This determines your role in the heavenly government (2 Tim. 2:12; Col. 3:24; Eph. 1:18–23).

4. JUDGMENT OF ISRAEL — The Tribulation
(Jacob’s Trouble — not the Body of Christ.)

After we are caught up, God resumes His prophetic program with Israel. The tribulation is called:

“The time of Jacob’s trouble.” — Jer. 30:7

“The time of Israel’s purging.” — Ezek. 20:33–38; Zech. 13:8–9

This judgment purges out the rebels and prepares redeemed Israel to enter the earthly Kingdom promised since the world began (Acts 3:21).

This has nothing to do with the Body of Christ.

5. JUDGMENT OF THE NATIONS — Matthew 25
(Gentiles judged based on how they treated Israel during the Tribulation.)

When Christ returns to earth, He sits on His throne and judges “all nations” (Matt. 25:31–46). This judgment:

• is on living Gentiles,
• determines who enters the Kingdom,
• rewards those who aided Israel,
• and condemns those who sided with Antichrist.

This occurs after the Tribulation, before the Millennium.

Not you.
Not the Body of Christ.
Not the Church the Body.

This is prophecy — not mystery.

6. GREAT WHITE THRONE — After the Millennium
(Judgment of all the lost of all time.)

Revelation 20:11–15 describes the final court session of history. This is where:

• all unsaved humans stand,
• death and hell deliver up their dead,
• every lost soul is judged by works,
• and finally cast into the lake of fire.

Also judged here: Satan and his fallen angels (Matt. 25:41; Rev. 20:10).

This is not for believers.

7. JUDGMENT OF ANGELS — Included at the End

Paul says:
“Know ye not that we shall judge angels?” — 1 Cor. 6:3

The Body of Christ participates in the administrative judgment of the heavenly beings who rebelled. This corresponds with the end-time cleansing of heaven (Rev. 12:7–9).

Why This Matters

If you mix these judgments:
• you will think the Body of Christ goes through the Tribulation;
• you will confuse Israel’s hope with ours;
• you will fear the Great White Throne;
• you will misunderstand your identity and reward;
• you will lose clarity on God’s two programs: prophecy (earth/Israel) and mystery (heaven/Body of Christ).

Rightly dividing protects you from confusion.

And it all begins here:
Life begins at Calvary.

Christ died for all your sins.
He was buried.
He rose again for your justification.

When you trust Him alone — not your works, not your religion, not your performance — God gives you:

• His righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21)
• His life (Col. 3:4)
• His Spirit (Rom. 8:9)
• His identity (Gal. 2:20)
• His heavenly inheritance (Eph. 1:11–14)

From that moment forward, the Christian life is Christ living in you — not you trying to reach God.

Grace doesn’t improve the old man.
Grace gives you a new man.

And as that new man grows, everything you build in Christ now… you will carry into eternity.
